HPDC - that is our core expertise and great passion. With hot and cold chamber machines of different sizes and a unique variety of alloys, we produce exactly what you want from molten metal: a precisely customised casting.
In HPDC, a liquid non-ferrous metal alloy is conveyed at high speed into a permanent metal mould. The alloy then solidifies in the mould cavity under a high and adjustable pressure. The liquid metal is fed via a dosing device, which takes the corresponding quantity from a crucible furnace provided for this purpose. The dosing takes place in the filling opening of the casting chamber, in which the metal is then gradually accumulated by a casting piston. This is followed by the actual mould filling. Once filling is complete, a certain dwell time elapses during which the alloy cools down sufficiently for the casting to be ejected and removed from the machine after the mould has been opened. After applying a coating as a release layer to the mould surfaces, the cycle starts all over again.
With die casting machines of different sizes and a unique variety of alloys, we produce exactly what you want from molten metal: a customised casting.
We use modern and fully automated casting cells to produce die-cast parts of varying complexity with consistent quality. At the heart of this is our automated machinery with our high-performance die casting machines, which have clamping forces of 1,250 kN to 6,800 kN (old designation: 125 - 680 tonnes). This enables us to produce a wide range of castings with dimensions from 3 x 3 x 3 mm up to 350 x 300 x 300 mm. We regularly process nine different alloys and can produce castings with a unit weight of 0.001 kg to 12 kg.
Our advanced casting technology enables you to produce high-quality cast components with excellent surface quality and precise moulding.

A special added value of Matthies Druckguss is our unique variety of alloys. Nine different alloys from the basic elements aluminium, brass (copper-zinc) and zinc are available for our customers to choose from - starting from a minimum quantity of 500 pieces (!) per series. This allows us to respond flexibly to customer requirements, design cast part properties precisely and fulfil ideas and demands in full.
That is why we focus on the highest quality right from the procurement of raw materials and continue to maintain this standard with every step of our process chain. Only with this increased standard we can guarantee that our customers will be delighted with our precision-accurate, high-quality and punctual die-cast part production.
The certification of our quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001, which has been in place for over 20 years, emphasises the standards we set ourselves every day.
